The Queensland Government has announced the successful attraction of Southern Oil's new Advanced Biofuels Pilot Plant to be built in Yarwun, Gladstone. The project is an exciting development in Queensland's emerging advanced biofuels industry. Together with the upcoming Queensland Biofutures 10-Year Roadmap and Action Plan and the Queensland biofuel mandate, this project will help position the state as a leader in the biofuels industry.
Work on the $16 million pilot plant is expected to start in April 2016 and is expected to be ready for operation by the end of the year. Read more >>
