Change of jurisdiction
Previously, the former Environment Protection Agency was solely responsible for the regulation of Condition 20 (Appendix 1, Schedule 3) of the Coordinator-General's July 2008 change report.
Condition 20 concerns noise generated during the project's operational phase.
Following legislative amendments, this responsibility has been split as follows:
|Source of noise||Regulatory agency|
|State-controlled roads||Department of Transport and Main Roads|
|Local roads||Brisbane City Council|
|Non-road noise||Department of Environment and Heritage Protection|
