A purpose-built recreation vehicle (RV) facility for travellers at the Gympie Heritage Railway Station Precinct will boost economic and social opportunities for the precinct.
Works will include construction of a shaded welcoming precinct for up to 30 RVs including necessary infrastructure (septic dump, water points, shade, communal space and safe, accessible parking).
When complete, the RV facility will help position the precinct as a diverse and engaging destination as well as providing a setting for new activities, events and tourism related initiatives.
