An upgrade to the facilities at Mornington Island’s concrete batching plant precinct will improve safety and productivity.
The upgraded precinct will include a new batching plant with automated sand, aggregate and cement weighing and distribution systems; an all-weather shed for dry storage of cement; an under-roof cover for vehicles and equipment; and an amenities facility.
When completed, this project will enable council to more efficiently and safely deliver ASA and Queensland building code-compliant concrete products.
