The Rail Manufacturing Leaders Group (RMLG) has provides expert advice to position Queensland as the rail manufacturing capital of Australia.

This advisory body will develop a rail manufacturing strategy to boost Queensland’s rail manufacturing sector and capture a significant portion of the national market.

A senior leader with 35 years of experience in delivering major international rail industry projects in the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia, including project director for the Queensland New Generation Rollingstock project.
Mr. Michael Carter, Group Executive Technical Services and Planning, Aurizon
Broad experience in senior executive and industry board leadership roles over a 30-year career in the rail industry, including freight, passenger and heavy haul rail operations.
Mr. Jacob Latter, Project Director, Laing O'Rourke
Jacob has over 20 years’ engineering, construction and maintenance experience in the Australian rail industry. He has significant experience in the contracting environment in freight, heavy haul, urban and metro rail construction and maintenance operations.
Mr. Vince Sanfilippo, General Manager, QLD & PNG, CPB Contractors
Governance of CPB Contractors’ business unit across the civil/rail, building and resource sectors, building on 20 years of industry and senior leadership experience in project delivery and board member roles.
Mr. Brian Sharp, General Manager Operating Assets, Queensland Rail
Over 15 years’ executive leadership experience with areas of key responsibility including engineering and maintenance operations of high performance capital intensive rail assets.
