The Integrated Resort Development (IRD) at the Gold Coast, subject to the proponent satisfying the procurement process, will be developed on a five hectare site ( 2.7 MB) between Sea World and the Gold Coast Fishermen's Co-operative.
The Government and ASF Consortium Pty Ltd have agreed to continue the existing Integrated Resort Development process on this land parcel.
A cruise ship terminal no longer forms part of the proposal.
ASF Consortium continue to progress their proposal with the Government and a detailed proposal is expected in 2017.
