Ithaca TAFE to become new Broncos training facility
A portion of government owned land at the former Ithaca TAFE site at Red Hill which is no longer required for service delivery will be leased to the Broncos. The site will be transformed by the League into a highly functional training facility which will include a training and administration building, new sports field and other enhancements to the state-owned land.
The community will also be winners and will benefit from a range of community programs including:
- 'Beyond Broncos' indigenous mentoring program
- game development across the state of Queensland – reaching 50,000 participants
- alliances with 'Deadly Choices'.
The community will be able to access part of the training facility when not in use by the Broncos.
The Broncos have also committed to undertaking significant rehabilitation to the bed and banks of Ithaca Creek and the construction of a new park as part of this development.
