Project changes

Change of jurisdiction
Previously, the former Environment Protection Agency was solely responsible for the regulation of Condition 20 (Appendix 1, Schedule 3) of the Coordinator-General's July 2008 change report.
Condition 20 concerns noise generated during the project's operational phase.
Following legislative amendments, this responsibility has been split as follows:
Source of noise | Regulatory agency |
---|---|
State-controlled roads | Department of Transport and Main Roads |
Local roads | Brisbane City Council |
Non-road noise | Department of Environment and Heritage Protection |
