The Mill development (Moreton Bay)
The Mill at Moreton Bay Priority Development Area will see the development of the University of the Sunshine Coast Moreton Bay campus. It aims to fast-track transport-related development in the existing Petrie Town Centre and land near the Kallangur and Lawnton train stations. It includes the existing Petrie Town Centre to the west of Petrie Station and land to the south of the new Kallangur station and covers an area of approximately 460 hectares.
The redevelopment of the former paper mill site will also include the construction of new health, retail, commercial and residential developments and other community infrastructure that will provide more housing in a community that’s a great place to live.
The Queensland Government’s Priority Development Areas target areas for accelerated and coordinated development that help get good property developments to market sooner—providing more affordable housing options for more people.

Logan Hospital expansion
Expansions and improvements at the Logan Hospital site will include the Stage 1 Expansion that will provide 206 additional beds, a rapid expansion modular ward with 28 new beds, and a maternity refurbishment.
