Featured projects
Health
New Bundaberg Hospital
The new Bundaberg Hospital will deliver around 121 new overnight beds across intensive care, coronary, medical, surgical, paediatric and mental health. It will also include additional emergency department treatment spaces, same-day beds and outpatient treatment spaces, and an expansion of medical imaging, pharmacy, pathology and other facilities—helping more people access the healthcare they need.
Transport
Torbanlea train manufacturing project
More manufacturing jobs for the Maryborough region with the construction of a purpose-built train manufacturing facility at Torbanlea— part of the Queensland Government’s Queensland Train Manufacturing Program.
The program will build 65 new six-car passenger trains at the facility, with construction set to start in late 2023. It has been established to meet the increasing demand for rail transport in South East Queensland over the next 10 years.
